You ask.

What does a membership cost? Which results belong in your pet's record? Here are the answers, without the guesswork.

THE DETAILS

Know before you join.

Whisker360 brings your pet's profile, source-linked health results and everyday context into one view. A catalogue entry is not a diagnosis or a promise that the test is part of your membership.

Membership

How much does membership cost?

Membership is $499 per year. That is less than $1.50 a day as a comparison, not a daily payment option. Checkout is not available on this site today.

How will joining and testing work?

The $499 annual membership is designed to begin with online checkout. You would then be directed to a participating veterinarian near you for blood collection and specialised urine testing. Checkout and clinic matching are not connected yet, so this page cannot take payment or book a visit today.

Are all the tests in the catalogue included?

No. The catalogue covers routine blood and urine measures, inherited-health topics, clinically selected specialist tests and research areas. A listed test is not automatically included in the $499 annual fee or appropriate for every pet.

Testing & results

Does every pet receive the same tests?

No. Dogs and cats need different methods and reference ranges. Age, history and clinical findings also matter. A veterinarian decides whether a specialist or follow-up test is appropriate; the whole catalogue is not run on every pet.

Where are blood and urine samples collected?

Blood draws and specialised urine tests require a veterinary visit. A veterinarian determines the appropriate collection method and testing plan for your pet. These are not at-home blood draws or a substitute for a laboratory urinalysis.

When do my pet’s results appear?

Your record starts with your pet's profile. A laboratory result is added only after it has been matched to the right pet, checked against its source and approved for owner release. The record shows what was measured, when and by which method. There is no instant result or fixed turnaround promise.

What is the report shown on the site?

Milo's report is an illustrative preview of the layout. Its values do not belong to your pet and must not be used to make a care decision. Your own record shows only results linked to your pet and released through the review process.

Does a genetic finding mean my pet is ill?

No. A tested variant can indicate a trait, carrier status or a possible health risk; it is not a diagnosis. Its meaning depends on the exact variant, test quality, species, breed and clinical context. A negative panel cannot rule out every inherited condition.

Everyday context

Can a wearable diagnose a condition?

No. Activity or rest trends can add context, but they are not a clinical diagnosis. Device readings depend on the model, fit, wear time and algorithm. Whisker360 does not currently connect a wearable to your pet's record.

What can I record in the app?

The private pilot lets an owner create a pet profile. Approved, source-linked results can be viewed in that pet's record as they become available. Owner questionnaires and wearable syncing are not live features today; an observation must never appear as a verified laboratory result.

Will Whisker360 replace my veterinarian?

No. Your veterinarian assesses symptoms, interprets health-impacting findings and decides on care. Whisker360 keeps the dates, sources and history together so you can have a better-informed conversation.

BEFORE THE NEXT VISIT

Bring the story you already know.

Past reports, current medicines, dates and the changes you notice at home give your veterinarian a better starting point. They also give each new result context. Your pet's own record stays distinct from the illustration shown on this site.
